Do I need a rental car for Seattle. We’re touring downtown and the Wooden Boat Center on Lake Union?
Someone mentioned great shopping at University Village. Is this worth checking out and do we need a car?
No, you do not need to rent a car as long as you are staying / touring the downtown / nearby Seattle area. The bus are very good and are very cheap. You can stay as far out as the airport and still get to downtown quickly and often.
You can also get to University Village via bus….
Seattle’s a great town to visit. Make sure you take a boat trip across the sound…..also very cheap.
