Any recommendations for a printer/fax/copier/scanner?
About a year and four months ago I purchased a Dell 966 all in one printer. It just crapped out on me. When it is in the initializing process it shuts down and starts up the initialization process again. It just does this over and over. Dell told me it is out of warranty and I basically have a boat anchor on my hands. I work in outside sales so I use the printer alot but don’t abuse it. I need something in a similar price range that serves the same purposes. Is it possible to find a printer that will last more than 1-2 years without crapping the bed? Or should I just purchase the same product and make sure I get the warranty?
Please advise…
While I do not know the cost of the Dell, I would look at the Canon Pixma MP530/830, or the HP OfficeJet Pro L7000 series.
Both of those offer the AIO features you want, plus individual cartridges (more economical). The HP is the fastest on the market (according to stats). Good thing is if you need ink you are not limited to Dell or Staples (low capacity only)
