Yes, I know there are alot of people that like House, Love House, would die if it ever went off the air, etc., but this is an information seeking question about the opening credits sequence.
Many can recall the beginning, of panning to a closeup of an medical transparency to Dr. Gregory House looking at the transparency. Between this scene and the images of he and his House-wannabes stalking the hospital halls, there is an overview image of a river with two motor boats going upstream.
(Actually these might be classified as ships). So does anyone know what river this is? Why is it important to the show? Does anyone recall more about the river shot?
