like the one where you check out used cars and what years are good or not. i’m looking for a review on a boat i want to buy.

There are a lot of different types of boats out there, ones that are trailerable and others that sit in the water, gas type and diesel types, even sail or motor. I have owned all the types over the years.
So to answer your question best, what type of boat are you thinking of? Gas or diesel? Sail or power? New or used?
Make an allowance for the insurance, fuel, storage, upkeep, upgrades and use.
Firstly, find a person who takes care of his or her boat well and has a simular one as to the one your thinking of. This person that will become your new friend, can show you just what is involved in maintaining a boat, how to safely use and operate the boat.
Maintanance is so important to keep up on with a boat, for this brings the enjoyment out of the boat’s use. A fun boating day is one that goes off like a snap and as planned. Your friends that go with you on the boat, rely on your expertiese and knowledge, so thay can have a good time with you, safely, and with the feeling that all is well.
I just wanted to paint the picture of reality in owning a boat. Boats are fun, even more fun when you enjoy them with friends and family.
However, a component to the boat ownership mix is the maintenance cost, this is reality. Understanding this and having fun with evin the maintenance of the boat makes the whole experience a life enriching experience.
So, ‘be prepaired’ to spend some money, and have fun with your new boat!
