where can i find a rc air-boat fan ?
i am making my own rc airboat and i need a full remote control system for my rc airboat and the fan to make it go but i cant find any kits or seperate parts? help me ???
You need a “ground” frequency transmitter, receiver, and servos. Most boats only need 2 channels (go and turn,) unless you want “extras”.
MOST airboats use small to medium nitro aircraft engines and “pusher” props.
It appears that what you are wanting is a ducted fan unit. MOST ducted fan units are to much power for anything except a large boat, unless you get a small electric unit.
I THINK Tower Hobbies, (http://towerhobbies.com,) has started selling a small electric DF unit recently, but there are many other sources as well. I KNOW they sell appropriate nitro engines, props, transmitters, etc.
