Why do politicians always think they have to make laws to make it “safe” for the masses?
I am talking about things like motorcycle helmet laws, seat belt laws, Stupid speed limits of 45mph on little used highways, no fire crackers, roman candles, or bottle rockets. 16 year old age requirement to ride a quad! The banning of all three wheeled ATV sales, no drinking when you are in your boat on the river, riding in the back of a pick up is even illegal here in Pa!
What happened to free will? I am not allowed to drive my car down the road without a seat belt fastened but, my 7 year old grandson legally rides a school bus to school without a seat belt! They aren’t even installed in the bus!
Because people think the gov’t is supposed to protect everyone from everything.
I’m sick of it.
