We have launched 5 new Free Classifieds websites for outlying areas of Central MN which are areas outside the reach of bluebirdshopper.com. BluebirdShopper.com is our MN Classifieds website. The sites are for the communities of Duluth, Grand Forks ND, Mankato, Rochester, and Sioux Falls SD. We hope to efficiently promote these additional websites and the intent is that they always remain free of charge for the communities they serve. We belive that we have a good alternative to craigsList as we focus on providing a more friendly and local service. BluebirdShopper started as a locally promoted online classified Ads website. It is promoted in central Minnesota on several radio stations and billboards. We are locally successful but are hoping to expand our area by promoting our new free classified sites. BluebirdShopper works well for those who like to buy and sell locally. Our charge for Ads is very minimal and announcements and for sale items Ads under $50 are free. We also allow business advertising via online brochures. We get about 1500 visitors a day. Our classified sites include easy navigation, unlimited photos, featured Ads, and search optimized pages for extra exposure. We have had success in helping many people sell items such as cars, boats, RVs, campers, motorcycles, antiques, pets, lawn mowers, trailers, ice houses, and many more types of items. The site is written with aspx and is hosted on a windows 2008 server. We hope to pull in more traffic via search optimization and continue to make enhancements that should help both our sellers and buyers. We monitor the site closely for scams and fraudulent entries and have been successful at stopping potential problems.
