Is the Nile River unsafe?
Is the Nile River unsafe to travel on? Is there a lot of rapids and currents that might throw you off your boat or flow you to land?? Please help.

Nothing in life is safe, you could be hit by a bus crossing the road, in fact its more likely than a river accident.
I’ve done 2 Nile cruises & i was very safe & never felt any problems. I’ve been on the Felucca boats & never had any problems, theyr good sailors. There have been accidents, but its rare.
I wouldn’t recommend trying to swim in the Nile, its not clean & as you say there are fast currents, & all the boats.
Dont worry, just go & enjoy yourself, & dont think about the ‘what if’s', or you’ll spend all your life worrying & not enjoying.
