Missing Uncle. Was sailing from Hawaii to California.?
My uncle Robert W. Arvin, age 49 years old, was sailing his sailboat from Hawaii to San Diego. He left Hawaii July 14, 2008 and was last spotted 550 miles from San Diego on September 22, 2008. We haven’t heard anything since that time. The name of his boat is the Ua Noa. If you have any info regarding his whereabouts please contact the United States Coast Guard at 1-510-437-3710. He told us it’d only take him 6 weeks to sail, but he left July 14th and it’s been 16 weeks with nothing since September.
