Suggestions on sweet 16 parties?
I’m about to be 16 and I’m wondering what to do. I can spend the money so help me decide. ideas perhaps? i was thinking about a boat on the lake and everybody dressing up and it would be so much fun. but my birthday is in december which makes things complicated. im talking about a lot of guests too, maybe 50 -100 who knows? i live in austin texas by the way.
Austin…in December! That combination alone is just messing up some great ideas that were forming – igloos, etc.
Hmmm – so think about what there are 16 of – 16″ is the length of a concrete block – so maybe build something, like a temporary fire pit and the guests paint the blocks on the outside before they bring them – that could be cool – then build a bonfire in the pit and right down anything you did in your youth that you regret and burn those papers with the things written on them! And release balloons with card in them reminding people that they are only on this earth for a short time so they should live it up – ask them to send the card back to you with an idea of a way you should have some fun while you are still only 16! Be sure to include a return address for them to respond. You will need helium for the balloons. And 16 ounces in a pint, so have a bunch of pints of ice cream in all sorts of flavors for people to make big multi-scoop sundaes. So that also makes it a Sweet 16! And there are 31 flavors of Baskin Robbins, so get a pint of each and make one pint of something strange using a home-made ice cream maker.
